Substantiating this is the prestigious award of Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) for Inbound and Domestic Tourism Services - one of only 15 nationally recognised centres of excellence.
Northumberland College, the North East Chamber of Commerce (NECC) and the Northumberland Training Agency have joined together to set up the UK's first 'public-private' collaborative Centre of Vocational Excellence, ensuring we can deliver the highest standard of training to the widest possible audience.

Our courses have been designed to satisfy the needs of a variety of specialist divisions within the Travel and Tourism sector. Our current provision includes customer service based training; selling skills; tourist attraction qualifications; and industry specific skills. Such courses are in addition to our traditional, full-time qualifications aimed at people new to the industry or wishing to begin a career in this industry.
