Courses on offer that include Leisure and Tourism. We can offer courses ranging from the Welcome to Excellence Courses to tailor-made training. Venues include football clubs, golf clubs and Horse racing venues.

The Tourism Academy can offer courses to your staff in the following areas:

Theatres, cinemas, Art Galleries and even some courses for Casino’s.

Business Tourism

Event Management is a new short course that the Tourism Academy are currently looking into. This could be the course for you if you work, or wish to work, as a hotelier or Conference Centre manager. Other training can be specially designed for you, and we also offer the Welcome to Excellence training as well as a wide range of NVQ’s and work based learning.

Outdoor & Leisure

We can offer courses to suit your needs if you are a specialist holiday centre or an Outdoor Activity Centre. One of the courses that we can offer to employees in retail is our NVQ in Retail and Customer Service from Level 1 to level 3.

Support Infrastructure

With a wide range of Tourist Information facilities, the CoVE can design a course around your requirements. This could include some familiarisation visits for your staff around the area, as well as our wide range of provision already on offer. We will soon be offering a short course in Event Management which may suit the needs of Event Organisers in your organisation.

Attractions

The Tourism Academy can offer the new NVQ Cultural Heritage course to your staff at both level 2 and level 3.
